We are highly selective with admitting new members (~20% admit rate), so fully completed profile questions will get priority. What is your full name and LinkedIn profile URL?

My current role on the marketing team of PokitDok would benefit from being immersed in design thinking & processes . . . plus, the group was highly recommended by 2 members, Julie Price and Jenn Hirsch.

What is the nature of your interest in designing experiences for personal habit development?

No answer yet

Can you share a 5-minute personal story about a successful habit practice that's lasted longer than 100 days? If so, please give us just a quick synopsis!

While I was Senior Producer at BBC Health I led a nationwide anti-smoking campaign. This was pre-tobacco ban in the UK, and the behavior was prevalent/anybody questioning smoking as a societal norm was branded as being "nanny state." However, Britain had the most expensive cigarettes anywhere except the Nordic countries, and smokers resented how much each pack cost. I commissioned a Flash game so smokers could enter their brand, how much they smoked, and their goals to cut back or quit (incremental decrease of the behavior was part of the strategy). The payback screen was how much they'd save over X months . . . and then link through to the BBC Holiday site so they could plan their vacations with all the money they'd saved. It was a successful campaign : )

Which (if any) relevant guest speaker(s) could you contact to speak at a future meetup with whom you already have a personal relationship?

Execs from PokitDok, Telome Health, UX friends who've consulted with SSF pharma, possibly former Stanford profs who could speak re: social norms.

Which specific host locations (if any) could you contact to host/sponsor a future meetup?

I'm an experienced event planner & am able to negotiate space/hospitality deals with bars or rest's . . . unfortunately no meeting spaces in my back pocket right now though!

I'm a former BBC Health interactive producer now working on Previously at Telome Health, Inc., my Stanford degrees are BA psychology and MA in sociology.
