HBase Developer PowWow down at Cloudera PA

Lets meet to discuss topics such as:

+ How to stabilize 0.96 after branching on the 22nd and making a release of it

+ How best to manage the firehose of changes that are coming into JIRA getting this goodness committed promptly

+ Lets try and figure what we think near term priorities are, and if there is anything we can do to better coordinate effort (design, code, reviews, test)

What else?  Folks working on features -- pluggable compaction framework, compaction algorithms, cluster transactions, etc. -- might want to prep. 30 seconds (or more if necessary) on where they are at, what help they need, etc?

Here are some more:

+ Getting hbase-it running on bigtop infrastructure

+ Hadoop2 story

+ LarsH on scan wall

+ Enis on table read/write locks

+ Snapshots

+ State of documentation

+ Website

+ Usability

+ Ergonomics, self-tuning project

+ Who is going to volunteer as secretary

+ 0.98? 1.0? 2.0?

There is Ed. Office is surrounded by a very pretty parking lot. Has black tar on top with white lines to mark how cars should present themselves (smile). Usually there are a bunch of free spaces.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
