Port Hack Site Visit & BBQ

As discussed on the HSBNE Email list (http://groups.google.com/group/hackerspace_brisbane) a little bit, we need to do a proper inspection of the potential site with all the members and interested parties coming along to look.

I've now set the date for this at Sunday the 18th of March. We also have the go ahead from Port Security and the ULDA to hold a BBQ there on the day.

My plan for the day is:

Start at 10am, gates will be open from then till when we leave. Spend a couple of hours going over the site with a fine tooth comb, finding problems/surprises/awesomeness etc.

Stop for BBQ lunch and discussion around 2pm and then we can head off afterwards or continue exploring/theory crafting/discussing etc.

What to bring:

If you have a ladder, please bring it. We'll need a couple for the various parts of the buildings and their respective roofs.

Gloves, decent shoes (steel cap if possible), a torch and any other tools you think might be handy.

Measuring tools so we can draw up a site layout.

Drinks, there is water on site, but nothing else at the moment.

Food for BBQ, the space will provide sausages and bread as usual, but anything else you will need to bring.

A chair is probably not a bad idea for the BBQ as well, as there are none there. Look forward to seeing lots of you there.
