Ladies' Night - crochet and knit: how to do it

Do you have knitted mittens you wish you could fix? Would you like to make cool little toy creatures (amigurumis) in the shape of R2D2? Have you been looking for the perfect scowl, and are unable to find it? How about making it yourself!

This ladies' night we'll do an introduction to knitting and crocheting. We'll provide enough yarn and needles to get 5 people started. So if you have your own equipment or project feel free to bring it.

We'll get you started with the basics so you'll feel confident enough to keep going on your own. We'll also:

• show you the range of options you have, from beginner to pro

• discuss yarn, tools and where to get them

• provide you with an incomplete but useful list of how to get more information
