Come learn the common mistakes made by beginners and solidify your understanding of JavaScript Objects, Arrays, and Functions. This highly interactive course instills these JS fundamentals via classwork provided between lectures. You will work in pairs to complete the programming exercises.
In addition to the two co-instructors, TAs will be available to assist you as you work through the exercises and project.

Am I at the right level for this class?
This class is for budding developers who have started teaching themselves JavaScript by completing at least one online JavaScript tutorial like Codecademy (http://www.codecademy.com/en/tracks/javascript) or CodeSchool (https://www.codeschool.com/paths/javascript); however those with more experience also tend to get a lot out of this course.
Will food be provided?
Lunch, coffee and snacks will be provided.
Are there scholarships available?
Yes, there are a limited number of need-based scholarships available. Apply here (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1peDg-eJM7DO2E3doRY11994WJQwLRqLyhRZDYokaEmI/viewform?usp=send_form). On the form, check the box that says, "Objects, Arrays and Functions".
Will this help me get into Hack Reactor?
This class is the first half of a two-part series created to prepare you to get into and succeed at Hack Reactor; however there is no guarantee that your prospects will improve. Taking this class has no impact on your admissions process.
I can't make it this time. When will the next one be?
The next one will likely be in June or July, but no plans have been set in stone yet.
Are there any options for remote attendance?
No. Unfortunately, at this time the class in only taught in-person.
Who is teaching?
There will be two co-teachers: Katrina and Kalev. They have experience studying at Hack Reactor, coding professionally, and mentoring/tutoring beginners.
