Simple Python for Journalists

We have got a very exciting event planned for this time. This month we will introduce programming using Python for journalists and data journalists, with a couple of very simple, yet useful examples.

Please come and join us in Galway if you are a journalists interested, or curious about programming.

You don't need to have any knowledge of programming as we will try to keep it very simple. Just bring your laptop and we will then take it from there.

This is a free event, but the space is limited. So please make sure you RSVP early. Having said that please RSVP only if you really plan to come.

This event is aimed at journalists, but if you are a Digital Humanities scholar/researcher and would like to learn about Python feel free to join us.

We have organised the event later in the morning so that those interested to join us from other cities will be able to make their way to Galway in the morning. We will head to the Westwood hotel bar for some after coding chit chat and socialising after the event.
