How TechCrunch's CrunchBase tracks startups to build the business graph

Details

From its beginnings as a database for the TechCrunch editorial team, CrunchBase (http://www.crunchbase.com/) has become a leading resource for inside information on startups and who’s investing where.

With its recent relaunch, CrunchBase is turning its data into what it calls the “Business Graph,” tracking connections across the technology world to provide more insights from its crowdsourced data. The database is also one of the leading examples of what media organizations can do to leverage existing archives to create new products by using the right metadata.

CrunchBase President Matt Kaufman will discuss the ideas behind the latest product release, how CrunchBase sources and sorts its data, and what lies ahead.

Please join us for this very special event hosted at TechCrunch's offices.
