Hacks/Hacker lab

Hacks/HackersIRE is retooling for the rest of 2012.  We're going to hold a series of lab sessions where all of you who are interested in the intersection of technology, journalism and civic life can have a dedicated space and time to hack on projects, learn some programming or brainstorm (and more!).

We're starting out our first lab session in the basement of the Reynolds Journalism Institute in the new Microsoft Lab (please do bring your Mac and Linux laptops :P ).

For students who are interested in learning to program, Ted Han and Stephen Bock will be on hand to help folks out, and offer some guidance for those interested in figuring out a path to learning how programming can help them get things done.
