The HaitiHub Creole Conversation Group of Durham is the language-learning home for anyone in the Triangle interested in speaking and understanding Haitian Creole!

~ If you don't speak Creole but might want to learn, vin amize ou! (Come have fun!)

~ If you are a native speaker of Creole and want to connect with other native speakers and learners and help more people to understand and appreciate the beauty of Kreyol Ayisyen, vin amize ou!

~ If you have learned some Creole already but want to improve your speaking and listening comprehension, vin amize ou!

~ If you are Creole fluent but want to maintain your fluency, vin amize ou!

~ If you just want to hang out with great people who share a love for Haiti, vin amize ou tou!

Meetups will be zero-pressure and fun! If you're more comfortable just listening in on conversations, that's fine. Jump in whenever you want! This is the place to make mistakes, ask questions, and learn together! At each Meetup, organizers will facilitate introductions and have conversation starters prepared. But the vibe will remain very relaxed and informal. We like it when conversations grow organically!

This is a great opportunity to hear Creole, speak Creole, and connect with others who share your interest and passion for Haiti's better future. Meetups will happen every other week in downtown Durham.

All are welcome to HaitiHub! HaitiHub kote n'ap mete tèt ansanm!
