Learn to Dance with ADF's visiting Haitian Dance troupe in Durham!

In partnership with the Duke Dance Department and Haiti Lab at Duke, the American Dance Festival (run by a great friend of HaitiHub - Gaspard Louis and his wife) will host a free master class with Haitian contemporary dance company Compagnie de Danse Jean-René Delsoin.

"Jean-René Delsoin’s outstanding, vibrant dancers and drummers embody choreography that captures Haiti now --- raw and refined, spiritual, powerful, and precarious."

The class will be 90 minutes long.  No dance experience is required.  Adults of all ages and abilities are welcome!  It will be a high-energy, fun introduction to contemporary dance with Haitian influences.

The class is FREE.  Wear comfortable clothes that you can exercise and move in.  The class starts at 1pm.  We will meet outside ADF's beautiful new building at 12:45pm.

To reserve your spot in the class, you need to sign a waiver and join using this link:

Places are filling up fast.  I've already got mine locked in!  Hope to see you all there!  This is going to be AMAZING!

N'a we!  N'a danse!

- Carlo

p.s. a children's class is also happening the same day at 1pm.  It's meant for 9-12 year-olds.  Here for more info:
