I was thinking about Facebook or Google ads as opposed to a page (although, if you're going to have ads a presence of some form is necessary and a Facebook page is as good as a web site).

I purchased Google and Facebook ads when selling a home and you may set a budget and geographically target your audience. It can be very effective.
