HBase Meetup @ Continuuity, Palo Alto

Come to the February HBase Meetup at the office of our buddies Continuuity. Come by and hear about what the lads have been up to on top of their HBase clusters of late.

Adela Maznikar of Facebook will give a talk on Region Placement improvements.

And, the mighty Andrew Purtell of Intel will talk up what is in "HBase[masked]".

DIRECTIONS

Our office is just 2 mins. walk from the California Ave Caltrain Station and for those who are driving, there is ample parking on Park Blvd or in the lots off of Sherman Ave  (see map).

    Hi Gary,

Thanks again for hosting at Continuuity. You have a really great setup there!

I really enjoyed your talk on adding ACID transactions to HBase. Would you mind posting your slides from the meetup?

We will be broadcasting the talks as a Google Hangout at:

    https://plus.google.com/events/c37380dm7cmk923t877mpfi7o54

The event is scheduled to start at 6:30pm PST, with approximately 30 minutes of networking time, so look for talks to commence roughly around 7:00pm PST.
