"Health is Inherently Social" + Blue Button Tech

Blue Button

A primer on the Blue Button standards. The term Blue Button has become rather all encompassing (BB Direct, BB+, BB Rest, etc.) so this talk aims to clear up any confusion on the matter by diving into the history and etymology and laying out what looks to be coming up. 10 minutes + Q&A from a team that's been in the trust bundle since August.

Health is Inherently Social

People talk about their health as part of their daily routine. They talk to their doctors and care providers. They talk to their family members, and they talk to their friends. Everything that takes place in the physical world is eventually transformed by digital technology. This talk will address what it means to be "social" in the health realm.

Owen and Will Imholte are co-Founders of Prime, a San Francisco based healthcare tech startup. Prime offers an iPhone app that lets people know their health. From medical records to body metrics, understanding one's health is the key to living forever. Owen and Will, brothers from Minnesota, and CTO and Chief of Product respectively will be presenting the talks.
