I live near Sainsburys, Magpie Cresent.. I was hoping to knit myself some woolly socks - circa Hitchin market - fair Isle type of socks, with lots of muted colours and triangle type shape.. pastel coloured.. I also wanted to try and knit an ear flap hat, with enough room for a faux fur lining.. how long do you think it will take a beginnner to learn? : )

Hi Claire, is there anything going on with the group on the 28th April? I know its the wrong week for the Gilpin, but do you guys still do the pub quiz or anything? I'm coming home for the bank holiday weekend, so will around thurday night and wanted to catch up with my fellow knitters!
