Temescal Canyon

Greetings to all, my next hike will be to Temescal Canyon. This is a 4.5 mile hike. it is a loop. There will be aabout 450 foot elevation gain/loss. To get there take the 10 West to where it turns into PCH. Take PCH north to Temescal Canyon blvd and turn right. Take Temescal Canyon blvd to where it ends at the intersection of Sunset and Temescal Canyon bl. Go through the intersectin and you can park in gateway park, but there is a fee. I hiked this trail on 3-31-2012 it is in good shape, first part shady, the elavation gain/loss is about right, good hike for moderate beginners and beyond, hope to see you there. Norman
