Welcome!

Come meet other local photographers who also have a love of nature. We plan to schedule a mix of day trip hikes and overnight backpacking to more remote locations. Hikes are generally tough, but will be at a photographer's pace to allow time to compose those great shots along the trail. Once we reach our destination we usually stay on location in order to make the most of golden light and sunset, hiking back under cover of dark with headlamps.

Landscape and nature photography is the focus of the group. Hiking is merely the means of getting to those great locations.

All range of photographers are welcome, whether you join us with a fancy camera and tons of skill or if you are just learning with a point and shoot. We hike to great locations and there are always people on the hike willing to share tips with those wishing to improve their photography.

For everyone's safety and enjoyment, please sign up for an event only if you are bringing a camera, are physically able to complete the hike and will come prepared with proper hiking equipment.
