Mount Dickerman

Mount Dickerman

Details

Mount Dickerman is a 5,728 ft summit just North of the Mountain Loop Highway. This is a very popular, but strenuous, hike. The trail begins with a steady climb up a series of switchbacks through the forest. Eventually, the trail opens up at a meadow where views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks begin. However, you are not done yet, there is still some more climbing to do before you reach the summit. At the top you will find 360 degree majestic views of the North Cascades.

Distance: 9 miles rt.
Elevation gain: 3,900ft.
Rating: strenuous.
Pace: moderate.
