B3B Minekill Falls and Schoharie Long Path Snowshoe/Hike

We will start at the Minekill falls parking area (which is about 1/2 mile south of the main entrance) hike to Nickerson's campground and back on the Long Path. This is a beautiful section of trail that goes through some mature pines and offers views of the reservoir and Schoharie Creek. On the way back we will stop at the falls. The hike is a about 5-6 miles.

Hiking boot, snowshoes and/or mircospikes are needed for this hike Bring lunch and plenty of water. Wear layers of clothing. If you have any question about your ability to do this hike please call me at 827-7779 no latter than 10pm or email me.

Those coming from Albany could meet at the cross-gates mall click here outside lot by Macys (http://photos2.meetupstatic.com/photos/member/8/7/b/a/highres_11254746.jpeg) at 9:00 (post a comment if you want to meet there) to meet in Middleburgh at 10am or plan at being at the trail head by 10:30am.
