Bike Ride: Berkshires MA to Twin Lakes CT (36 Miles)

http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/1/5/9/2/event_130085522.jpegThis is a 35.7 mile bike ride loop starting in Great Barrington, MA to Twin Lakes, CT. The ride is relatively flat, with some moderate climbs and some rolling hills.

After starting in Great Barrington, we will pass through the towns of South Egremont, Sheffield, Weatogue, and Ashley Falls before returning to Great Barrington.

For those joining, make sure your bike is good mechanical condition, you must bring a spare inner tube, and a bicycle helmet. Bring snacks and two water bottles.

Ride Details:

Distance: 35.7 miles

Pace: Casual, 11-13 mph, with frequent stops for picture taking.

Terrain: Flat with some rolling hills and two moderately steep climbs. A one mile dirt road.

Difficulty: Moderate
