Do you long for adult interaction? Has it been so long that you've forgotten what it is?

Ask yourself the following questions:

1. Do you find yourself talking to the TV? Your kids stuffed animals?
2. Do you call your husband at work several times a day just to say "Hi"?
3. Is your child's only playmate you and or your pet?
4. When your husband comes home from work, do you talk to him non stop?
5. When you are shopping do you try to make eye contact with ANYONE hoping to start a conversation?
6. Do you wish you had a group of laid back moms to hang out with?

If you answered "Yes" to any or all of these questions, then Hip Mamas is the group for you!

We are a group of mom's that want...NO!! NEED to connect with other mom's via playgroups, events, trips, internet and much more!

We are a group that consists of, well...moms and their children. Stay at home moms, work at home moms, working moms, if you are a mom then this group is for you. We welcome members from all over the Colorado Springs area.

These are some of the events that are on our calendar each month. Attending events is a great opportunity to meet other moms and receive the support and adult interaction that we all need! As well as giving your child the socialization and outlet to exert their endless supply of energy!

All suggestions and ideas are welcomed and encouraged.

Our number one rule is: YOU MUST BE ACTIVE IN THE GROUP !!!

GROUP ETHICS:

1. RSVP yes if you plan on attending. Remember, if you say yes and something comes up, you are always able to change it.

2. RSVP even if it's no. Just as important!! Use the comments section to say why this event doesn't work for you.

3. Profiles. Each member must have a profile and a picture. This helps others get to know you.

4. Be active. Active means visiting the site at least once a week. If nothing else, to RSVP for upcoming events, make any changes, or to check the message board.

5. Attend events. If the dates/times/places don't work for you, please take the opportunity to host an event. It's an easy way to assure that there will be a meetup at the right time and place for you. These events do NOT have to be in your home. If you don't know what's in your vicinity, email the Organizer or one of the Assistant Organizers. We would be happy to look into what's around you.

6. Please do no solicit group members - if you have a product that you would like to share with the moms in the group, please contact one of the Organizers
