I'm hoping to start a group where individuals can share their favorite mountain bike spots while meeting others who are at their skill level or locality. The goal is just to get people together who love to ride and to make new friends and discover some cool spots along the way. I'm not looking to obtain thousands of members, just members who will be actively particpating.
Meetup is not free so I'm covering the cost so in exchange please honor your commitment.
I just had surgery and haven't ridden since I moved here 3 yrs ago so I'll be at a beginner/intermediate level for awhile. I don't really know where to ride so with that being said, I'm willing to give this a shot hoping some of you can assist me and together we can develop and shape our group into something incredible. We want everyone to have fun and nobody to be left behind.
Please be advised that anyone participating in this group must fill out the event waiver and email it to me ASAP - no exceptions.

Steve has offered to led a this Sunday.
Let's meet ath the Alameda Open Space parking lot at 10:00 am. Those with security concerns can park at shopping centers at Coors and Alameda then ride over (.25 mile east of Coors south side of Alameda Ave. by the Rio Grande Bridge). The course is flat and easy. The only obstacles are some sandy spots, horses, and horse droppings. Read more
