GOOGLE HACKATHON

Details
What does SnapChat, Khan Academy, and Rovio (Angry Birds) have in common?

They all use Google's Cloud Platform to develop and launch their products. Whether it's IOS apps to websites with millions of pageviews, Google Cloud Platform supplies developers with a highly scalable backend infrastructure that's global, redundant and uses cutting edge technologies like MapReduce, BigTable, and Dremel. Google just recently dropped their prices to be extra competitive when compared to AWS.
Are you interested now? Come join HiCapacity, theBoxJelly, and Google Developer Relations in a joint Hackathon where developers can play around Google's Cloud Platform FOR FREE!. We'll give you the keys to the entire set of tools. All we ask is that you build something awesome with it. This is a great opportunity to get familiar with Google's offerings to see if it matches your business needs. Or to just add another tool to your toolbelt. We'll also have Google Developer Experts on hand to show you how to use some of the tools and to offer support when the docs are not enough.
Participants are not required to use Google's Cloud Platform to compete in this Hackathon. Nor are they required to use any Google product. Although I'm not sure why you would want to ... most of the prizes are Google Cloud Platform credits.
