There is an opportunity that I've just learned about for someone in or near NYC to be on a PBS documentary about improving your life.
This PBS documentary on human emotions would like to feature the tenets of positive psychology, and capture personal journeys of growth and flourishing. To do so, the production company is interested in tracking the experience of someone going through positive psychology coaching with me. If you are open to this possibility, I could put you in touch with the producer beforehand if you'd like to learn more about the project. Filming would begin in July. This 2-hour episode is part of a 6-hour special series being co-produced with the award-winning science series NOVA.
This would be once a week for about six-eight sessions of in-person coaching in NYC (65th and 2nd), and there would be some assignments in between the coaching. The show may be interested both in capturing some of the coaching sessions, and in seeing progress outside of sessions.
People whom coaching has helped have originally: * Been overwhelmed by demands * Wanted to move their business forward * Wanted to change jobs or even industries * Felt like everything is ok, but just ok, and wondered how to make it better (This series is really interested in this).
If this sounds like your kind of thing, could you please email me ([address removed]): * A few sentences about yourself * What you might gain from coaching? * Whether you are in NY? * Interested if the coaching were free or if you were to pay for the coaching segments or either way? * Whether you've heard of positive psychology? An answer of no is perfectly good.
