"Homesteading" is the act of making things from scratch. This includes a wide range of fun activities like gardening, preserving food, making home brews, raising chickens and bees, and making homemade beauty and cleaning products.
"Homesteaders" want to know where their food comes from and what is in their products. Making things from scratch is the best way to educate yourself and save some money in the process!
Join us for DIY classes and to meet other urban homesteaders in your community. Please share your unique skills by offering to host a meetup or suggesting people who would be interested.
