houston.js Message Board › Node Expert wanted for questioning
Guess what.. I am abusing my power to get help. ;)
I am looking for an experienced Node person to throw massive amounts of questions at. I prefer someone using it in production + day job.
I am looking at possible solutions to alleviate a Rails testing pain point (ie its slow and painful ;) )
One option I want to explore is moving parts of the Rails api to Node. Not all at once but gradually. So this means, using existing databases for backend.
I am most curious on the testing aspect. Ideally I would have most of my business logic on the Node backend.
So key points...
1. Fast testing
2. Use existing database
3. General... fun-ness / maintainability
