This meetup will be hosted at the WeWork Lounge in SoHo.

This group is all about HTML5, JavaScript and Web Technologies. We share, discuss, teach, learn, hack and extend web applications and experiences.

The evening agenda -

  • Socialize and Pizza!
  • "Show & Tell" - 15 minutes lightning talks about exciting and interesting projects and ideas. Followed by 10 minutes shared Questions and Answers.
  • Guest Speaker Session! "JavaScript Future" - HTML5 have brought a lot of new things, but when trying to build large sustainable applications - Javascript is still struggling. How will the future of JS affect the way we build the applications of tomorrow?
  • The Hackfest! Show us what you got, participate in hacking challenges, learn, showoff and (sometimes) win prizes.

Join us to learn from experienced Web Developers and Designers and socialize with the best web hackers around.

The best topic of the night was hearing about using a test swarm with Qunit; that sure would help.

I'd like to give quick update about SlashDB project during Show & Tell. For those of you who don't know SlashDB is the easiest way to deliver data from dabases to HTML5 and mobile apps. Check in out at

    Thanks Zohar,

Vic, the service you're offering is amazing. I had this in mind for sometime to create a JSON/P Rest API with MongoDB, node.js, angularjs. But don't have enough time in a day to work on personal projects.
We should connect at this meetup because my startup can really leverage your service.
