The group is about connecting people who care about the web, who want to learn or expand their knowledge with Javascript and HTML5 and related web technologies. We are developers, designers and thinkers in a 'hackathon like' format under the same roof.

This will hopefully grow to be weekly or bi-weekly and foster great project collaborations!

Every meeting we'll have -

  • "Show & Tell" - Members will have 15 minutes to present exciting and interesting projects followed by 10 minutes Questions and Answers.
  • "Hackfest" - Hacking groups, creating awesome web apps together.
  • "Reconvene" - Show the group's projects and plan the next meeting.
  • Beer at the local bar!

Drinks and snacks on the house :)

Prizes for the coolest projects!

Great place for 'frontend' designers and marketers to get together with 'backend' developers and programmers.... First meeting was a good start, even though the weather kept 2/3rds of the signups from coming.. Group should grow into a very useful resource...

Great to be in a place with designers & developers talking together & focus on doing/showing code. Great info, food, people. Cool to learn about Kaltura.

I think it was good for a start. Needs a bit more structure. The group seems very positive - very good thing. Seems like a very amiable and flexible group - willing to make changes for the general good and to enable progress of the group.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
