Welcome Fellow Lightworkers!

Nope, I didn't write that backwards. I know the famous quote is "We are not human beings on a spiritual journey. We are spiritual beings on a human journey." but I chose the title opposite of that for a reason.

I love the saying that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. But I have been wondering lately, if that is true then why are we constantly told to limit our human experience? If we are here to EXPERIENCE the human form, why are we not “allowed” to fully experience all that comes along with being human? So many times spiritual people cast judgment on other spiritual people, or “suggest” that they not do this and not do that. Why can't I eat red meat, have a glass of wine, listen to pop music and use an occasional sailor slur? Spiritual people have bad days too (we are after all human right?), so why can't I talk about it, why does everything that comes out of my mouth have to be pure? I came to the conclusion that if I couldn’t have my human experiences, if I can’t JUST BE ME then I don’t want to do this anymore!

And more and more I am finding others that feel the same way. I was going to start just a regular spiritual group like all the others out there, and then I thought, why not create a place for those of us that are as I call us "sometimes spiritually incorrect" (although we are not incorrect at all :) or as my friends call me "a normal person, not so woo-woo". And that's not a judgment at all, I have many wonderful woo-woo friends and I love them all... we're just different :)

The purpose of this group is to bring together those who wish to share, communicate, learn, grow and be in an environment where you aren't expected to be, act or do anything a certain way, only YOUR way, what works for YOU, what resonates with YOU. I (and others that will guest speak at meetings, classes etc as well as you the group members) will provide knowledge we have attained and then what you choose to do with that is up to you. If it resonates with you - great, if not, let's talk about it and learn from each other.

Everyone is welcome in this group, the only thing that I ask is that there be no judgment, that you allow all members to BE themselves. I never push my beliefs on others and I ask that you don't either. I personally never learned anything from agreeing with people all the time and I openly welcome everyone's point of view, when presented in a discussional manner :)

And you're probably wondering who the heck I am right? I am a professional psychic medium (with spirit rescue being my favorite part), paranormal investigator, artist, author, speaker/teacher, wife and mother of two beautiful kids. I have been "officially" doing this (being a medium and teaching others) for 4 years now and it's both what I love to do and part of my mission on this human journey :) I recently moved back to TX from VA and am looking forward to reconnecting with the community and meeting new people who are also on their path to enlightenment. Right now it looks like meetings/classes will be held at Plano libraries or the YMCA or the meeting room of IHOP in Frisco (the staff there is great and I've had meetings there before). I have several topics already in mind and I welcome your suggestions and if you would like to be a guest speaker, I definitely welcome that as well. I don't like to always be the one in the front of the class yapping :) So far, the topics I have in mind are:

Clearing Your Chakras/Opening Your Psychic Centers - I will teach the best method I have found after trial and error with many methods, and you will be able to do it yourself on a daily basis (or as needed). Amazing results! I will also provide other methods that I've had relative success with so that you have several options.
