Atheist Singer-Songwriter Shelley Segal

“For an atheist, she’s got a hell of a lot of soul.”

Coming all the way from Australia and co-sponsored by Humanists of Houston and Houston Atheists Association, atheist singer-songwriter Shelley Segal will be visiting Houston on her U.S. tour and performing songs from her debut album "An Atheist Album" (plus unreleased material).

Shelley's Houston performance will be on the evening of Saturday 3/23/13 in the private room of the Fox & Hound on Westheimer (the same location as last December's "Big Party").

The Fox & Hound has a full food and drink menu; doors will open at 6 PM and the performance will begin at 7. Please arrive early to order food and drinks before the start of the performance, and after the performance feel free to stay as late as you like!

Shelley will also have copies of her CD's for sale and will be happy to sign autographs.

Admission to this event will be absolutely free, although donations to help cover the performer's fee and expenses will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to everyone who came! Donations totaled $227, which covered over half of the expenses (and the rest was covered by Houston Atheists Association and Humanists of Houston). Shelley greatly enjoyed the event and her Houston visit overall, and will definitely make a return trip!

OK, the venue has been finalized, and WILL be at the Fox and Hound on Westheimer, in the private ("Champions") room! See everyone there and don't forget you can stay after the show as long as you like, since we have the private room reserved until closing!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
