This event is free of charge.

Pink Saris (http://athenafilmfestival.com/program/past-films/pink-saris/) chronicles the activities of a northern Indian women’s activist group, called the Gulabi Gang, as it fights on behalf of abused and abandoned girls and women while challenging entrenched attitudes and institutions that conspire to keep many Indian women powerless and vulnerable to violence and other abuses.
