"Jury finds S.D. infringed on Our Lady of Peace academy's religious rights."

Just the first two short letters on this page are relevant:

On one hand, I am glad that at least the school is trying to build a new science center. On the other hand, I am of course sick of hearing people complain that their "religious rights" are being trampled which imposes a "substantial burden" upon them. I don't understand how that even applies in this situation. I'm very interested to hear anyone's thoughts on this.

Unfortunately this is my alma mater so perhaps this upsets me because I hated attending OLP, the Old Ladies' Penitentiary. (I stopped believing in religion right before Easter time during my freshman year there.)

Anyway, I hope that someone appeals this decision and that this institution of brainwashing doesn't receive a dime of the City's money. Hell, I'd appeal it if I could.

Is the money an award from greivences or are they going to use it to build a science center? I'm curious as to what the rules are for this school to teach science. Can they teach what sciences they want or are they under regulations to teach the required sciences that all other schools have to teach? Because if they're going to build a science building, I'd be against it if they could teach whatever they want, but if their under specific regulations to teach required science, then I'd be for it?

Don't these people understand that science is going to utterly destroy their religion? I guess not, because if they truly understood science, they wouldn't be religious in the first place. The people who do understand science, that are also making money from religion deny, attack, slander, and call science another religion.

Religious lies are like roaches, enjoying your kitchen food at night. Science is the light that sends the roaches running for cover when it gets turned on.
