Dear Friends - Welcome to the New York Hungarian Social Network Group!

Little bit about ourselves...we're a community organization that was founded around the fall of 2006.

Our goal is to bring together Hungarians, Hungarian Americans and New Yorkers that have an interest in Hungary, its culture, or its people. We have held events in New York every month since we have were founded and we have been a success.  The member count has exceeded 780 this year thanks to the hard work of the organizers and volunteers who have helped to shape this group to what it is today. 

Our members have come from all walks of lives. We have a mixed crowd of people that includes students, working professionals and members of various fields and profession. We do not only promote friendships and social relationships, we also provide members with an opportunity to network with local Hungarians and New Yorkers and build out business relationships.

The atmosphere of our Meetup events is friendly and inclusive, and the organizers always make sure that everyone has a good time.

This is a private group at the request of the members. If you would like to join you'll be asked to answer a few entry questions and post a picture of yourself.
