UPDATES (12/24/2011 12:30 p.m.): Geez, let's hope for better weather this year, PLEASE! If the road is plowed and the weather favorable, we'll start off from the Coreys Road trailhead no later than 7:00 a.m. The route in is from the second parking lot to the left along Coreys Road; then up the horse trail, then left along the route to Shattuck Clearing; at the sharp right turn, start in to the left along the Calkins Brook herd path where, after a very long, hard slog to the top, we reach Donaldson, RT to Emmons along the Seward ridge line, then back and RT to Seward Mountain.
This is your chance to get the Sewards as Winter 46er peaks before the road gate closes!
Plan to spend the weekend in the area; I'll post a companion event for Seymour Mountain for the following day.
Be sure to view, print out and take with you route information from the links below!
