On Saturday, April 6, 2013, there will be massive pillow fights in cities around the world!!!Come one, come all with your pillows and friends to make sweet cushiony war! All ages, though parents should use discretion when the fury is on. Pillows fly and teddies soar as you converge for a giant urban pillow fight! Swing and whack as you evade pillow-wielding assailants. Bring a SOFT pillow and wait for the signal - Pillooow Fiiight! Location is Washington Square Park at 8th & Walnut Sts. Not mandatory, but you are welcome to come in costume to show off your special bravado. We've gotten 120-200 people in the past; let's break that record! Rules: Please follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and fun pillow fight for everybody:+ Soft, feather-free pillows with clean pillow cases only! + Swing lightly, many people will be swinging at once. + Do not swing at people without pillows or with cameras. + Remove glasses beforehand! + Deposit pillows in donation boxes or take them with you.NO bean bags, heavy couch cushions, or memory foam!!!Videographers and photographuhers welcome, esp those that participate.All unwanted pillows will be donated to the P.A.W.S. shelter for their animals, so please feel free to leave your pillows.https://www.facebook.com/events/415518738543530/
