Sure. My name is Elisabeth Bentley but please call me Lizzy.
As noted above, I work primarily as a screenwriter. However, working with non-fiction material for the majority of my career, I've developed many strategies for crafting narrative out of real events, already shot footage and fragments of the historical record. These challenges have led me to spend a lot of time coming up with data management strategies that reflect dramatic structure. It is this area of inquiry that has brought me to the UX field.
I would like to attend events that consider database construction with an eye to narrative. In short, I think techniques from UX have a lot to offer other fields and I look forward to being part of multi-disciplinary problem solving.
Elisabeth Bentley is a writer/producer whose films have been nominated for a WGA Award and short-listed for an Academy Award in 2007, honored at Cannes, Sundance, the Berlinale and MoMA and broadcast on HBO and the Sundance and SyFy channels.
