Work with us to establish a U.S. Cabinet Level Dept of Peace and Nonviolence and BE the peace through focused action to create a peaceful nation, and world! There is a bill in Congress (HR808) that we're working to make law... and lobbying for a Senate introduction of the same bill! Meet other local peace-minded people to talk about nonviolent means to resolve differences including a soon-to-be formed learning group for Nonviolent Communication (NVC).

Our regular monthly meeting is the 3rd Saturday of each month, though there are many opportunities to meetup throughout the month. MEETUP events are either hosted by us, cohosted or part of the national campaign. Other notes and events are posted as "of interest" to peacebuilders!
As part of a national effort to establish a Dept. of Peace, there are two monthly conference calls available for volunteers.
- “All-volunteer” conference call held the first Tuesday of each month
- “Nonviolent Communication” conference call held the last Thursday of each month
(see www.thepeacealliance.org for more details and/or date changes due to holidays)
Through this campaign we are proclaiming that Peace is possible with the right tools, intention, and knowledge; that nonviolent solutions can be found within nearly any conflict. Thus, we are FOR Peace... not AGAINST anything. We stand for equality, compassion, justice, inclusion and in solidarity towards peace, and not to perpetuate any kind of divisiveness. When you attend any event -- remember -- as Gandhi said, "We must BE the CHANGE we wish to see in the world." Be the PEACE.
