Django Girls IE Follow-up

This is an informal women's get-together for those who attended Django Girls Inland Empire on Dec. 4-5, 2015. It's fine to bring your children/teens and +1 guests as well, but just let me know who's coming so that I can be sure we have enough space.

This is a chance to continue learning Django web development. Bring your laptops! Be prepared to code on projects/tutorials when we meet.

Homework before we meet:

• We strongly recommend that you work through the rest of the Django Girls tutorial (http://tutorial.djangogirls.org/en/index.html) on your own before we meet.

• Optional: once you've finished the tutorial, draw out sketches of a simple Django project that you'd like to build. Bring them and we can talk about how to build your project idea. Or if you're not ready to build a project yet, we can get you started with another good tutorial (https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.9/intro/tutorial01/) to build your knowledge.

• Come prepared with questions about the Django Girls tutorial, or about web development in general. Think of this as a precious opportunity to get help.

About the location: Panera is a cafe with power outlets and wifi. I chose it because it's free to meet there, but space is limited and we each have an obligation to buy food/drink if we meet there. If anyone has access to a library/community center room or classroom in Corona that we could use instead for free, let me know.
