Let's combine our talents to make our own projects!
Hi everyone,
I'm the new Organizer. I'd like to have this meetup group become a place where people find other people in the film & video industry to get together and make projects! Things may be a bit slow in the industry here in Vancouver, but there's not reason for us to combine our talents and create our own work.
I have a popular YouTube channel where I used to do everything myself, but I recently did a video with other actors, videographers, an editor, a music composer, etc and the result was fantastic - it got featured on web sites like CollegeHumor.com and TodaysBigThing.com, and got tens of thousands of views. We have the means for mass distribution of our own projects so let's get together and make them happen!
Please update your profile to let others know what it is that you do (or want to do) and if you have a project that you're looking for help with, take a look through the members!
Meetups in this group can be a combination of getting together to discuss ideas & plan projects, as well as get togethers to watch movies, videos, independent produtions, etc.
If you have some suggestions please let me know and otherwise I look forward to putting our resources together and coming up with some cool stuff!
