Meetup details changed: Gimme Liberty....Or at least give me Anime!

I've updated this Meetup. For more details, see the full listing:

We are moving the screening to the 10th of July to avoid any conflicts caused by the 4th of July. This screenings will be our first in which we showcase titles from Funimations Operation Anime program as well as our traditional screening materials. This means a chance to give feedback and have your voice heard by one of the most powerful anime companies in America! In addition everyone will recieve a 40 percent discount for purchasing the title we decide to show and the group gets to keep the promotional DVD.

In addition to the Operation Anime screening we will be celbrating the 4th by opening up the screening to good old democratic fare. Our most popular suggestion from our last screening was The Sword of the Stranger. In a happy twist of fate the title we hosted a meetup for in February is now being screened by us in our own theatre! This is a wonderful movie set in the fuedal age of Japan that brings new meaning to the phrase culture clash. Prmarily because samurai swords are involved!

Our operation anime offering is going to be Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple. Its a martial arts action comedy to compliment the great action offered by the Sword of the Stranger. Our intent was to air one of our more popular suggestions, Samurai Champloo but that will have to wait as its a special request screening. Champloo will recieve its own special billing at a later date.

Our other popular titles for Operation anime have been Full Metal Panic FUMOFU, Ghost Hunt, Case Closed, and Musushi all of which we will be showing in our series!

When: July 10,[masked]:00 PM
