My name is Jason Wuerfel and while I've never made it out to any of the meet-ups, I've been a member of Indy Beer for a little while now. I'm writing because I'm in the process of starting a combination used bookstore and nanobrewery called Books & Brews. We're still negotiating the lease, but if everything goes smoothly we'll be located on the northeast side at the 96th street exit on I-69 (right next to Home Depot). I've recently started a Kickstarter campaign to help with some of the costs associated with getting my business off the ground - http://www.kickstarte....

I wanted to get the word out to your group, but I thought it was inappropriate to spam everyone, so I wanted to bring it to you first. If nothing else, I really hope that I can host some Indy Beer events at Books & Brews once we get up and running. Our goal, albeit a bit optimistic, is to have a grand opening January 1st. We plan to focus primarily on Indiana beers for our guest taps and an extensive catalog of experimental in-house beers. Our menu will be simple, with an variety of local meats, cheeses, and breads to pair with the beer (think Smoking Goose, Trader's Point Creamery, etc).
