We have members ranging from students of the language, relocated natives, business people and lovers of Chinese food. But above all, we provide a welcoming, supportive, open group where people who are studying the Chinese language and culture can connect, share, network, grow and enjoy themselves. Most of our speakers speak Mandarin, but Cantonese and all other dialects are welcome.
Please RSVP if you plan on attending an event. It's a huge help to our organizers and hosts if we know how many people to expect. Thanks in advance!!
Location and Parking
The Chinese Corner generally meets at the following location.
Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach
411 Clematis Street
West Palm Beach, Florida 33401
(hours, telephone number, and map)
As we usually meet on a Sunday, parking is free at the 4-story parking garage on the southwest corner of the intersection of Banyan Blvd and Dixie Hwy. See below for a Google Street View of the entrance to the parking garage ("City Center Garage").
After you park, take the elevator or stairs to the first floor of the parking garage, and exit the garage via the door next to the elevator. Walk southwest across the plaza courtyard and enter the library building. Inside, walk south to the library entrance, enter, then make your first right to find the elevators. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Exit the elevator and walk west, go through the line of doors, walk west down the hallway, and the Clematis Room is the first room on the left.
