Happy New Year, Silicon Valley Cohousers! Will 2009 be the year for you to co-create your new home in community? Does the market bubble popping mean that we have new opportunities to find sites we can afford? Are there new tools that can speed up the process and help us get there faster? Let's make it so.

Robert B. has called together his regular gathering tomorrow (Saturday) from 2-3:30 PM to assemble folks to talk about cohousing "South of Mountain View", meet other interested folks, strategize, dream, and organize.

For once, it looks like I'll be able to make it and share:

I can also provide some Cohousing Coaching.

I'll bring some cohousing books for those who want to continue the learning process at home.

The location is near Santa Clara CalTrain.

If you can't make it, go ahead and RSVP "No" to get the chance to answer some questions that will help us prioritize.

It felt like we made some real progress getting a critical mass together using different outreach tools and parallel processes. If we can get 'em working together, we'll have a core group or several working on community creation in the area.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
