Compound on Express - an explosive MVC Framework for NodeJS

Compound is a really cool MVC framework for NodeJS that is designed to make coding decisions easier. It has a rich feature set including goodies like user interface scaffolding and a database abstraction layer called JugglingDB that takes the pain out of getting an application started. We're going to dive into the cool parts of Compound and demonstrate how well JavaScript can work using a structured framework on the server-side.

Speaker Bio

Tyson is a die-hard JavaScript enthusiast. He was primarily a client-side developer focusing on large scalable applications until the advent of NodeJS. It was then that he realized that he could write code both on the client-side and the server-side without compromising his beloved JavaScript syntax. Tyson lives in Franklin Tennessee where he works for appendTo from the comfort of his home and various coffee shops.
