Kirtan/Satsang and Global Peace Meditation Monthly Meetup with Yogi René

Join us for an evening of music, prayer and meditation to help bring about peace in the world and in ourselves. Deep healing has been experienced by people who regularly attend our satsangs. It is an opportunity to ask questions and hear inspiring words. It is a chance to focus inwardly rather than outwardly. Those who attend regularly find that their lives improve remarkably, they are more energetic, clearer in mind and healthier in body.  Socialize and share healthful vegan snacks provided by all participating.

The Kirtan will be led by Keith Villanueva

This year I had the blessing of teaching harmonium workshop classes at “Jai Uttal’s Kirtan Camp 2012″

I live in NYC and work as a fulltime FDNY firefighter. Kirtan has saved my life and has connected me to the Divine. Kirtan is so powerful, its beyond words. Loving awareness is at your finger tips with kirtan.

My influences in kirtan are Jai Uttal, Krishna Das, Bhagavan Das, Prema Hara, Gaura Vani, Anjula Prasad, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Sean Johnson, & Devadas.

I am the founder & member of the Kirtan group called “The Kirtan Clan” & the FB Group that keeps you up to date with kirtans in NYC called “New York Yogis”.

This would have not been possible if it wasn’t for the Divine grace that has brought us all together through Yoga.

Through this journey I have been blessed to have met such amazing & loving people. I also realized how many people have the same passion as I do, in wanting to learn the basics of playing the harmonium & chanting the holy names of God.

Jai Ma!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
