3D Printer Demonstration

Details
At the Arcade Library (2443 Marconi Ave., Sacramento) we have a couple of 3D printers running. So if you want to drop in, talk to a couple of experienced makers about how to use them and the limitations, please do!
We also have Autocad running on two computers, so that you can get some practice designing objects on a professional system.
Or, if you ever wanted to use Photoshop, we have it loaded on two other computers, and they are connected to a couple of large quality printers.
This is not really a meetup, you don't have to RSVP, show up any time!
If you are here in the Library tonight at 6:30, we will be giving a talk about 3D printers:
How they work
How they are used in Science and industry
Copyrights, patents and Trademarks
The vast possibilities of this technology
CONTEST!!
There is a design contest running right now, and the grand prize is a Makerbot Replicator 2, just like the units we are running at the library! The value is about $2500!
All you have to do is design something in 3D that is awesome!
We will help you with learning how to design, just come on in!
Contest ends July 8, so dig in!
