Arduino Hackers

The Arduino meetup group meets at Hacker Lab on the first and third Thursdays of every month.

The idea is that you show up after 5 PM with the equipment you need to work:

- your laptop

- a USB cable

- Bring an Arduino card. They are available at Radio Shack for a reasonable price.

Work on a project or help someone with their project. We are here to learn together, and to work together on huge projects.

For each meeting, a subject will be announced at least a week before the meeting. At the meeting we will announce a challenge based on that subject. If you are interested, you can participate in trying to accomplish the challenge with everyone working together.

Thank you, and happy hacking!

Hi, Wow that sounds like fun. Let me know if you need parts fabricated. I have a workshop with a CNC router.

had something come up so I'll have to try to attend next week. Quick question, I have a Sparki Arduino based robot from kickstarted. I haven't done a lot of research but I assume the Sparki has an Arduino at it's core that I can use for this meet up. Thoughts? If that plan is flawed, I'll still need to get an Arduino for the next meet.

These are pretty chaotic meetings. Almost everyone attending is an inventor of some sort. You get out of it only as much as you put into it.
If you need help, you have to speak up.

Can I attend if I'm a complete novice to this kind of meetup? May have a project in mind for everyone. Pretty spectacular. I'm just an inventor - not a hardware developer.
