Product Desc: MOD
The MOD is a wrist-mounted wearable tech platform designed with makers and artists in mind. Handmade of black leather, steel rivets, screws and an Omega clasp closure, it gives folks three internal suede pockets for keeping sacred things (each is shipped with the EVR1 Canon disk inside, a collection of humanity's greatest written works), and 8 exterior screws that serve as mounting points for art and technology modules.
We're calling it the "MOD", for artists and makers to MOD-ify / innovate on top of, to create wearable technology prototypes and as an enduring fashion item for the broader public that changes with the times, tastes and tech. We hope to inspire folks to get back in their shops and start tinkering with their own wrist-mounted art projects and technology solutions (e.g. using an arduino chip, OLED display, gps, ultrasonic range finder, mp3 player). The wrist is a perfect place to control other pieces of wearable and non-wearable technology as well. It's sort of a Dick Tracy - Batman inspired creativity platform. Buy one bracelet for life and customize as necessary.

Micha Benoliel, CEO of Open Garden
http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/7/f/a/event_225902042.jpeg
"My ultimate challenge is to provide free wireless broadband access to the internet and advocate Net Neutrality. I first began learning how to become a technology entrepreneur at age 8, when I taught myself how to code on a flight simulator in Basic on a Zenith PC that my father was using for accounting. Then I made my first games on a Texas Instrument TI 99 4A. Obviously, I quickly became a fan of the Atari 512ST and the Amiga 500.
Among the several telecommunications services I launched in the last 10 years, I had a lot of fun operating Skype In and Skype Out in several European countries and later the first Skype premium live translation service from english to 15 foreign languages for businesses."
