Kris has facilitated 13 cross-border and 15 U.S.-based mergers and acquisitions valued over $750 million. Kris advises leaders of corporations, and emerging companies, on identification of growth opportunities and on restructuring to improve profitability and increase enterprise value.

Scott Nelson, PhD (https://www.linkedin.com/in/scottanelson17), is an experienced C-Level Executive, with a distinguished career in IoT having served as Technology Director at Honeywell, as CTO of LogicPD, and more recently as a mentor in the Alchemist Accelerator (http://alchemistaccelerator.com) in Silicon Valley, ranked as a global top 5 startup accelerator. Dr. Nelson will be attending Alchemist's Demo Day on Thursday, January 21st, 2016 right before our event, and will be calling in via Skype to give us a real-time download on Silicon Valley's current view of IoT.

Jim Lockhart (http://www.smithpartners.com/jim-lockhart/) is a strong business leader with extensive experience in corporate governance; mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; tax considerations; venture capital financing; and capital formation, including public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities. He served as managing partner of Popham Haik, a 250-attorney national law firm, and as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Fiserv Health, Inc. a national health care company. Mr. Lockhart has taken an interest in the MNVest program and has helped to develop a concept called, "Stored Charge," which is a Crowd Equity Program via MNVest which will enable superior development of IoT Projects.
