Thank you Alex and team, was a great event. Nice mix of demos, with widely varying levels of maturity (maybe a bit too extreme... if this becomes massive perhaps there should be a curator...) Look forward to the next one!

Excellent. Thanks to Alex for continuing to manage these increasingly complex events.

I did enjoy talking all the people exhibiting, just needed a bit more space.

    • Nikodem L.

I agree 100%! There were good quality people and presentations. A little bit more space and it would be perfect.

Another great event, a real buzz in the room. Thanks to Alex, Nominet and Xively.

Hi! I see that only 133 (of the original 150 accepted) are currently going. Is it possible to free those 17 places for those in the waiting list?

As per earlier comment its my daughters 20th birthday today so to celebrate not having a teenager in the house any more, we're off for a nosh. Have fun everyone at the iot meeting.

  • Alexandra D.

Please note doors will only open at 7pm!

    April 9, 2014

    • Numaan C.

Luckily, it opens strictly at 7pm *because* we've got setup time :) [as per Alex' tweet]

    • Steve N.

Alexandra, are there any free spots now for people on the wait list?

      April 9, 2014

  • Jonathan W.

Apologies for the late change to my RSVP! Unfortunately I'm double booked as it's my daughters birthday. I hope someone can take my place. Jonny

  • Amal S.

Just realize i Won't be able to make it, I hope to join you next time
Hopefully 2 hours notice will enable others to attend

    April 9, 2014

  • Neale S.

Hi, I'm showing as on the waitlist, but also that there are two spots open, can I move to the 'attendee' list please?

    1 · April 9, 2014

    • Chris F.

I understand that as "spots" become free they are offered to the people on the waiting list in the order that they were placed on the list. The three (or however many it is) spots will not be reoffered until those people make up their minds to take the tickets or not.

      Just turn up!

      1 · April 9, 2014

  • Benjamin M.

Hi, is there a way to know one's position in the waitlist? I would definitely love to come in, but don't know if still doable.

    April 9, 2014

  • Srinivas M.

Hi! Are any of the three spots still available? Would love to attend!

    April 9, 2014

  • Numaan C.

Great to be a part of the group
Is the waitlist for people who want to showcase or just for visitors/viewers ? i.e. is it worth applying to showcase a product?

I will officially announce JSR 363 after the creation review in Zurich. Sorry folks, but that's a little closer from here. Plus 363 EG members meet on May 13/14 in London, you're welcome to join a public meeting, there's something planned by London Java Community, stay tuned...

    April 7, 2014

  • Paul R.

With the change in venue, will there be more spaces available?

    1 · April 3, 2014

    • Steve N.

Yeah , me too …Im on th wait list … how come the wait list people do not go first!

      1 · April 3, 2014

    • Andrew L.

I think you'll find that the newly released places were taken by the first 55 on the waiting list. That's how it works.

      April 3, 2014

  • Howard T.

Blast!! Just realised this clashes with my daughters birthday... Hmm.. I wonder if as a birthday treat I took her along? :)

    April 3, 2014

  • Maria L.

I am also crossing my fingers to get a confirmation!

    April 3, 2014

  • Clare

Do you always release tickets at a certain time on a certain day? Apologies if this is mentioned somewhere, I always get waitlist too but if I could plan... :)

    March 19, 2014

    • ben

Yes, this happens at every event, then 15 minutes before it starts, people drop out and I get a place, shame I'd be at the other end of London and end up wasting the place.

      April 1, 2014

  • Dave T.

Is it likely that I will get in - I've been on the waitlist for weeks ???

    March 19, 2014

    • Chris F.

Mmmm. I think each monthly meeting has its own waiting list which is deleted once the event has passed. If you do not get a ticket within roughly 15-mins of Alex announcing the meeting you go on the waiting list for THAT meeting only

      March 19, 2014

  • Chris F.

    Crazy! Almost 70-tickets gone within ten-mins of being released - that's about one sign-up every ten-seconds :)
