Welcome to the most amazingly fun, adventurous and interactive point of convergence between Italians and Italian language speakers living in Washington, DC. Our group is one of the most popular Italian Language & Culture Meetup groups in the world. Membership is FREE! All levels of Italian language proficiency are welcome!

When you join our group you will be able to speak, read and write Italian. You'll meet Italian language speakers from all over the world and you'll have a great time! We have 5-7 events every month which include:

* Weekly meetings to practice our Italian conversation skills
* Visits to local museums and the Italian embassy to enjoy cultural events
* "Movie Nights" where we watch an Italian film
* Dinners at Italian restaurants or potluck dinners and picnics
* Each month we have an "Apertivo Italiano"
* We use technology such as Skype to provide online meeting opportunities
* And other events as we find more ways to socialize and practice our Italian

Some events happen during the evening on weekdays and others are during the weekends. Most events are FREE! You'll see the exact time and location for events once you join our group.
